IKR!!! I was wondering the same thing too. Why is he perfectly content to sit back and watch a drama involving his own wife and son unfold in front of him? Is he that spineless? Or he would just rather not get involved ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

Shit probably. We've seen him a bit but know almost nothing about him. The most input he's given was with his bed talk with Haruka. He gave Haruki the benefit of the doubt but at the dinner he sat there when he had the opportunity to defend his son. Does he even care? At least Haruka tried to find answers when she noticed Hikaru's and Haruki's behavior changed. Other than giving Haruki some job pamphlets, the father has done nothing. He's more oblivious to what's going on than Haruka is! I get Haruka's response but the more I think about the dad, the more frustrated I get (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
The dad is completely oblivious about everything. I just want to slap him in the face and yell help your son before he kills himself.
