Ughhh... this whole story it feels like they are digging themselves into a deep deep hole, and it gets deeper each chapter, they are almost at the other side of the earth.
And the protagonist is making it worse, he is not getting what's going on, and then says something that makes things worse, or he is thinking what he should be saying, but says some half hearted junk. It's a good story that I enjoy, but it can be sooooo infuriating at times. I'm hoping this flash forward flash back thing doesn't drag on too long, considering it hasn't even happened yet.
