I watched brotherhood first then the original anime one and its still really good. Its not as good as brotherhood of course but still definitely worth watching. I just thought of them as two completely different things. This happened in this version and that happened in the that version. If you can make that clear distinction it should be a lot more enjoyable

I watched original first and got so sad and said I could never watch it again. My stepson told me to watch Brotherhood and I was adamant about NOT watching it but he made me sit down one weekend and we watched the whole thing together! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ It satisfied me! What do you think about the live action adaption? I know there is now Ghost in the Shell, but just found out about FMA.

I just did too ... meh, the actors are supposed to be 'alternate universe Germans' and they cast blond/gold eyed Ed as with a Japanese person ... Hollywood makes no sense. They keep messing up animes that are just perfect as they are. Makes me a little sad.
I wonder what's going on with the Bleach movie.... Oh and a Naruto movie!

Rurouni Kenshin (Trilogy) was the only great manga-to-live action adaptation that graced the silver screen.
I guess I just feel excited because the Marvel and DC movies and shows were so well done and making movies of animes I love is awesome! We got spoiled... ╮(￣▽￣)╭

The adaption for fullmetal is directed by Japanese people this time so Hollywood's got nothing to do with it. . did you also see/hear that the person to play 'L' in Death Note is a black guy?
Really? There goes my view of him as an anemic insomniac, pale as a ghost with bags under his eyes. I will wait for more trailers before deciding whether to see it, but my one little view of FMA elicited an immediate negative response, not sure why.
