The parts of the manga scanlation process are this:
Cleaning/Levelling/Dusting/Redrawing/Uncensoring - This is exceptionally time intensive and involves removing the kanji, cleaning up the pages if they're literally scanned, redrawing any of the art that had to be erased with the kanji, and making dicks and butts visible again. We have amazing people doing this, but single pages can sometimes take hours because we want this to be the best possible quality.
Translation - This alone takes hours, especially with a manga that has chapters as long as Pendulum does.
Proofreading - I took, on average, around 4 hours per chapter doing the proofreading. carefully and slowly reading them, checking grammar rules, making suggestions on rewording, etc.
Typesetting - This is another extremely time intensive process. Those who have been joining Nina's streams can attest to that. Nina insists on giving you guys the highest quality end product, so it basically looks like one you'd pay money for. The dialogue boxes are the smallest and easiest part of this. It's the sound effects that take time. Please, re-read the chapters and take note of Nina's amazing work.
Quality checks - Our team looks the chapter over for any errors missed during proofreading because seeing it on the page really changes things from reading the text in a document. Nina then has to make any corrections and redo any typesetting again.
All of this time aside, we still have to work as people are available. With any luck, we should have chapter 3 up very soon. We just aren't going to half-ass it. I hope that when you think of NNN Scans, you remember amazing, quality, beautiful uncensored manga that you'd be happy to own, if you could.

Chapter 4 - Translated, currently in proofreading and typesetting (now just in typesetting and needing quality checks as of May 2)
Chapter 5 - Translated, pending proofreading
Nini has been livestreaming her work as she does the typesetting on the chapters.
There is an extra with the main couple that we'll be ordering the tankobon so we can do it. Also, we found a raw provider for Remnant, so we're planning to do that as well.
