I'm also against "bashing" a 16 year old girl but that girl really deserves a good slap or two cuz she is only 16 and the manga/manhwa she was asking about to the author is clearly 18+ and she is not spose to read it I mean if wouldn't allow my younger sister to read adult stuff especially mangas before 18 so even if I try to forget the fact that I lost my 2 favorite manhwa and not sure if I'll be to read my most favorite manhwa ( ROYAL SERVANT and WHAT LIES AT THE END) she really needs to learn a lesson and a little punishment
Honestly she made a stupid mistake which shows her lack of common sense because it's written in the beginning of the chapters (or at the end, even both sometimes) that the original version comes from Lezhin and it seems pretty logic that reading free stuff -that you're supposed to pay to do so usually- is illegal.
Anyway,I hope that she will not read all the things written about her because some comments are very harsh. A lot of people are angry and probably didn't mean it but she's a human being, even if she has doomed mangago

In my opinion it was just a matter of time until something like this happend. So that girl is just one link of a chain, and though she is naive (and apparently new on the interwebz) she is ultimately not to blame. It would have happened either way, sooner or later.
But I AM kinda disappointed in the author, I have to say, on a personal level (economically speaking I totally get it lol). I think it is kinda a natural law that stuff on the internet gets pirated, so the author should have expected it. But she is definitely antagonizing her fanbase now, if she is acting to drastic.
I don't think it is wrong to be upset about it but the things people are saying are along the lines of bullying. I do not think a large group of people bullying a child is appropriate under any circumstances.
Common sense is subjective. There are a lot of people who read manga here and completely skip over the translator credits/notes. I've seen people ask countless times in discussions when the next chapter of a manga is going to be released when it was already in the translator notes and in the comments section. It could be bolded, underlined, capitalized and in brightly colored letters but there would still be people who skip over it to read the manga. I don't find it unbelievable someone would ask the author directly. Infact, she's not the first to do it. However the people who did the same in the past were not attacked to this extent.
There is a large amount of underage people on this site. Mangago is in no way regulating it so that's inevitable.
The scanlator dropped the series and the author is upset. Losing access to the manhwa is punishment and that alone is something she can reflect on to learn a lesson. I see no reason why people here need to give her "a good slap or two".
Indeed, and it's not a slap or two. People are verbally abusing the girl, if I"m 16 years old reading everyone calling me a bitch and etc.. and wanting me to get raped, I will suffer. There is no need to make a little girl go through all of this insults just because of a manga you can buy online. So I'm hoping mangago can erase all of these hateful comments.
I agree. I wish Mangago would do something in situations like this but I'm doubtful that they will. Admins of this site don't have much presence outside of uploading manga.
It would be nice if there were moderators on Mangago.

I understand people are upset that the translator has dropped the series and that the authors are unhappy but more than anything I am bothered by the response people here have had. I find it truly repulsive that people think bashing a 16 year old for an honest mistake is appropriate.
