I'm not opposing you to stop reading yaoi, honestly it's not my business. However, it depends on your mentality. There's fluffy and heartwarming yaoi, but there's also gore and psychological. If you hated the later genre, then maybe avoid those and wait until you're older. Underage are not advise to read these materials because it might influence your behavior in society since teenagers have tendency to be impulsive.

Hm... It's hard to say, you are underage and shouldn't read this stuff but if I started reading yaoi at 15 I probably wouldn't be like -" I'm gonna wait until I'm 18 ヾ(☆▽☆)" and boys do start with porn at a very young age.
But please all of you young kids do not combine fantasy and reality! Many, but too many of you do it. (And like 90% of those kids think they are the smartest and they don't do that)
And do not fight in the comments. Stop attacking people for their taste in yaoi, doesn't matter if it's pure fluff or hardcore rape/shota/furry whatever (or shoujo or yuri). You aren't special or better than others because you love certain type of manga.

Also, I've noticed that people often do not understand story or characters' actions due to young age or not enough experience. That's ok, not every story is for you, or person your age. Some stuff you can reread few years later and see it totally different which is normal but, again, think before you comment, you don't have to be rude and insult people/stories while expressing yourself.
A lot of this stuff is done by older users but majority of them are youngsters (I feel old (▰˘◡˘▰) )

Thank you for answering to my question :) I've started to read yaoi last year. Don't worry, I know real people are completely different from manga characters from yaoi :) In yaoi manga, the uke is often (not always though) effeminate, has a girly face while the seme is strong, possessive etc... Those are stereotypes and I know they don't reflect real life (fortunately)
Well I'm not gonna stop reading yaoi (too late to go back anyway lol), but I was just wondering if I was the only one this young reading this genre (because none of my friends like it) and if I was TOO young. But I see some of you even started at the age of 10 so I'm a bit relieved lol
Nothing's wrong with that. Go read them to your heart's content. It really depends on your level of maturity. But i suggest that you should stick with shounen ai first and don't go reading hardcore stuff, unless you really are mature enough to understand it.
