    Hope this helps!

It's still an unknown man who ordered the WAF to stalk and record Simon - you only see his shadow in an earlier chapter and then again later when Simon practices how to propose to Conor - the unknown guy really didn't like this so he might like Simon

Pete, the man who always wears a hat and has a mole on his chin, becomes somewhat of the ringleader for the WAF group that records Simon - it can be assumed that he sends the photos because he hates Conor since their middle school days for being the only korean in school and has Simon's(who took the pictures) phone and laptop hacked. He gathers the WAF to kidnapp Conor and crush his fingers for being gay and korean - Conor never plays guitar again from what I've seen so far

The glasses guy is Hasco (pretty sure that's his name) is a weird detective who is obsessed with working on WAF related cases and for some reason is teamed up with Simon's brother Gale - when he first appears in chapter 40 I think a flashback starts to when Gale was originally looking for Pete to ruff him up on Simon's request - idk if Hasco's playing the 'bad cop' since none of the other detectives like him or if he's just tagging along for fun

    Spoilers

I think its actually the unknown client thought that orchestrated everything Pete and his crew did to Simon and Conor.. in chapter 3, Pete says "You got on his bad side" when crushing Simons fingers. And in 39, after the text has been sent to Conors parents, the waf is seen talking to the client, saying that it went well and would be traced back to Simon and not them. There the client says that's the last of what they require from the waf. So it could have been a different client that had the waf break Conors fingers, since that happened after.

btw Simons brother is a hired killer. It seems the prosecutor was working with him to have Pete killed, and is now trying to pin that and other crimes on Simon. He wants to take down the waf. I think he might be the Asian man they talked about, that was attacked by the waf and his wife was raped by them, and then killed herself.

That would be an interesting plot twist since I think somewhere (chapter 32 maybe) it said that the client just wanted surveillance and didn't want to hurt anybody, but maybe he changed his mind after he saw how close Simon and Donor were getting - either way I wish the author would give some hint to who he is already....

Well....that explains why Simon does end up in prison in like chapter 60. Thanks for info!
