Fist of all u said that the plot is unrealistic and this is normal for it to be this is after all what people call a " fonctionel story " and what about the repeating u are talking about what's the pro with it kanou is a yakuza and ayase is his lover and the crush of many guys so isn't it regular for kanou's ennemis to use ayase wish it is his point of weakness while it is also regular for kanou to come and save him all the time this kind of repeating is very well known in yakuza stories ( and here's the example of vf where asami came to save aki many times )
Now let's talk about the " weird relationship " between kanou and ayase u said how they can be together althought kanou is always raping him but before i start why we don't think the example of lucaon and kyon from royal servant where the couple had a worst relationship than kanou and ayase now ( yet royal servant is too loved by many fans ) now let's back to our many subject the reason why ayase could forgive kanou in my personal opinion is Stockholm syndrome wish it made the little boy has feelings of tendress towards kanou ( just like what happened to akihito from vf who was raped cruely by his asami and everyone must admit that the way he got raped was worst 100% than ayase was ) but in okane ga nai love wasn't i saw u i loved u it did just take it time to progress slowly step by step unlike the other yaoi mangas and this is a reason of what making it special from the others in my opinion and here's an example : ayase in first chap volume 2 : i don't want it !! This is wrong !! I'm scared / last extra chap volume 11 : please continue
And now let's talk about kanou well i know he's not a perfect lover and has many negative and he is so possesive too but why haters always see the cruel rapist and never saW the nobel lover who loves with all his heart and ready to do anything for his lover's sake it's true that his way was wrong but the reason behind it was never because he was a bad guy it all was because of fear and by the way since u are nagging about raping he only forced him few times in the manga all the rest weren't raping it was only their style of having sex and ayase really loved it althought he wasn't still satisfied with it after volume 2 but if u check the second extra of volume 10 and last one of volume 12 and also when he got drunk along side with that after he accepted to become kanou's lover and asked him to stay with him since he has no debt anymore u'll understand that it really wasn't raping the whole time and ayase has such a strong sexual desire and he tries all the time to deny that cuz he's a shy guy
But i will tell u why do u hate simply :-):-) cuz u only wanted ayase to say to kanou " i love u " from idk the first or second volume just like the rest of yaoi mangas ?? And u are just hating it cuz u were to blind to see something happening between them and have no patience for their relationship ?? Well sorry but it's not the author pro if u couldn't understand his/her ideas it's your pro !! And now let's talk about the art well it's not the best art ever but honestly one of the best even if it's not that realistic and ayase is a princess <3<3<3<3 and since u asked why this manga is popular is simply that because the author is so gifted and genuis and deserve all the best for making such a different and unique story ( still he/she made a lot of mistakes in drawing ) and i want u to know that ayase and kanou who you are blaming for not being a perfect lovely dovey couple are so perfect now but don't u think it's too silly to say such a comment in 2017 since the first chap of volume 14 is out and u know nothing about the rest ah and since u are talking about 50 shades u should know that christian end up in love with anastasia , married her and had kids happy end lol :-P:-P:-P
@Ivy, you couldn't have said it better!! Those are my exact thoughts! It's unbelievable how popular this manga was (some time ago, I don't think it's the case anymore) despite its awful content. Ayase must be the worst uke in history!!

Omg could u be any less fucking dramatic and fucking hurt. What a pathetic psycho..I mean christ.. This is the mangakas point of view we are literally reading what makes perfect sense based on the mangaka not based on you. People should be able to understand people love in all kinda ways especially asami and kanou. I mean they love their ukes like that because losing them will be like fucking hell and they'll do whatever it takes to make them theirs. I agree ayase is a weakling but omg he hella tries! His face sort of describes his heart and just who he is in general..people want him to be like takaba and that's fine but this is a different mangaka with a different perspective! I seriously love this and I support the mangaka. It's an awesome story of a beautiful love that is just yet to develop and I can't wait. Cuz even during the sex u could see ayase loving it and he tries to say that his reaction is entirely based on physiology but that's not really the case cuz when he gets touched of whatever there's like no reaction but with kanou he immediately gets hella turned and doesn't even try to fight him.
If I were to rate it out of ten.........................I'd give it a 1. Absolutely appalling. Plot is unrealistic and glorifies sexual assault, and considering my own experiences with that, I'm shocked that a friend recommended it to me. Anyways, Story line is repititive (Ayase is in trouble, almost gets raped -- woah Kanou randomly shows up out of nowhere to save him! I love it sooooo realistic. Repeat x10) Ayase is a sweet character but really lacks any sense of justice or strength, he is a badly written character with no nuances in his personality -- super boring. Also the angel imagery is cheesy and I cringe every time I see it, how corny can you get......don't even get me started on Kanou. Also their relationship is so weird. Considering the fact that Ayase's in a binding contract with a violent, possessive and abusive man who forces him to have sex regularly w/ no hope of getting out, realistically speaking, an average person would become very emotionally and mentally ill. Like, depressive episodes, suicidal ideation......this whole manga is just so unrealistic I cannot believe how popular it is. The art isn't even good. Mangaka seems to know her fundamentals, but Ayase's big ass anime eyes kill me every time like sis what year is it lmfao. Sorry if my review sounds mean or scathing but as someone who's into literature and storytelling, this is quite literally on par with 50 Shades in terms of abysmal storytelling. The plots are kind of similar as well, haha. No hard feelings towards the ppl who like it, but truly and very honestly this might be one of the worst yaois I have read in a while lmfao (granted I don't read many bcos of the sexual assault thing...but yeah. Take my review with a grain of salt then lol)
