Yes, she is. Edea is West and because she wanted to live harmoniously with humans, she joined WH...I believe.

They are because if we use the appearances then East looks nothing like herself. So they could be part of each other also Tasha is the reincarnate of West from the beginning, but tasha also died from being shot trying to save Aria from the people she was sold to, but aria brought him back and put the curse on him. So they can be two pieces of a whole that need to be joined. When Tasha first called on the mania because he wanted to get stronger the person he talked to was Edea.
The reason why I am confused is because it was established that Tasha and the other guy (can't remember his name) studied under the same master. So it means that their master is either West OR Edea. So I thought that West and Edea are the same person. But then, they are portrayed differently in the story.
The other guy is a different age only his appearance is they same as Tasha's both got the same training according to the other guy. The only difference as least what was told is that one spent more time with her then the other. I think at one time they said he was like almost 70 years old, but because of the cuff he wears he had not changed.
Personally i think they're different people. Maybe edea is west's sorella?
They're not the same person, but it's weird that they have the same teaching and personalities from the accounts we know about them. I think they were teacher and student at one point or something else entirely is going on that we aren't privy to yet.
