it still left me with a bitter taste. The story is truly amazing but Idk i just don't really feel happy/satisified with the ending tho it's suppose to be happy *sigh* art is beautiful and story is heartwrenching...I'll come back and read this again in like a year or two maybe it'll change my feelings about this story ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

I actually read this long ago and when the squeal updated and I started reading I felt the same.. I do not know what I am actually okay if the Uke sleeps around but maybe I cant stand him or I do not know, I still do not know how they fell in love this is why I am going to like the squeal more than this one

You should definitely reread this at a later time if you don't feel satisfied. I made a comment earlier, about this actually, but I honestly had to reread it about 3 times before I really got to understand the characters more and why they act as they do. Especially Miyabi and his sex habits.

If you don't feel satisfied or don't really understand how they fell in love, I definitely recommend reading it again!

If it helps at all, on Miyabi (uke)'s part, he had sex with all these people because he was angry at Tobinaga (an alpha). And he realized he could use alphas to his advantage (instead of being toyed with and abandoned, the way Tobinaga did). Tobinaga was like "if you can climb the corporate ladder, I'll take you back" so Takaba was like... "Bitch, I'll get a position of power AND crush any alpha standing in my way to do so. Behold my omega charm!" So he did that time after time again, believing that alphas are all the same - after ass all the time. Until he came across our hero, Takaba! Who is different from other alphas - who didn't give in to the alpha urge, even when seduced. Someone who wouldn't have sex with Miyabi because he was an alpha, but because he loved him. And that's all Miyabi really wanted and needed - someone who loved him. Someone who would want him for him, who would be a pair with him, who didn't treat an omega as a hole for sex. And that's Takaba.

    (cont.)
As for Takaba, he hated omegas because his omega father ("mother", if you will) was a prostitute. He hated seeing him being fucked all the time, how abused he was. And grew to think that they were pitiful and abused and he hated that. And he hated his alpha urges and how alphas cause omegas to suffer. And he didn't want to ever become that kind of alpha - the kind that treated omegas like his father badly.

But lo and behold, Miyabi. Beautiful Miyabi who *owned* his omega status. Who was proud and intelligent. Nothing like other omegas - rather, someone who used his omega status against alphas. So Takaba slowly falls in love, seduced every time by Miyabi's strength and refusing to fuck Miyabi because of his heat. Slowly, unwittingly falling in love until he realizes he wants to know more about Miyabi (this is the part where he fucks Miyabi's thighs. He starts giving into the seduction because he realizes he likes Miyabi for who he is).

And then the part where Tobinaga the asshole comes in. He gives the company a job and makes Takaba do it. Just so he can say that Takaba is doing it wrong. To make Miyabi come and get fucked. And make Takaba watch :(
(This is where Takaba is like.... "don't go" and makes a super sad face.)
Miyabi knows what Tobinaga is doing but makes a sacrifice because he doesn't want Takaba to get in trouble.

Miyabi also helps Takaba understand omegas better. Takaba learns to hate them less. He starts to understand what and how much his omega father did for them. That his omega father did this of his own free will, for his children. (This is the freedom Miyabi speaks of at the start when Takaba just enters the company).

Theres also a lot of little nuances that show how well matched they are. But, maybe you'll find those if you reread it ;)
