U know...i really hate the way Haru is treated! Even in the hospital(both times) his was picked on, blamed, ignored, insulted. All he ever wanted was someone to need and love him. He has given it his all and no one appreciates him. Bunch of assholes!! I hope he doesn't remember that way they have to take of him for once!!

Um, I think it was all supposed to be a laughable moment. It's obvious how caring and close everyone is to each other.

It's not to me. I absolutely despise the lawyer lady. No wonder she and Haruko are friends. She doesn't even care about her own son. Why would she care about someone else'? Plus they were trying to be funny at Haru's expense. Nothing laughable about that. (There's a reason why comedians who poke fun at themselves are more funny than those who poke fun at other people. I only learned why myself a few years ago. It's gaslighting and abusive behavior.) Finally people who are really worried about repetition should be calling out this kind of behavior that's rather pointless ESPECIALLY when it's reduced to nothing more than a laughable moment instead of being concerned about a double memory loss which ACTUALLY contributes to the story. I don't think Haru is 100% not guilty BTW. But this isn't the thing I find Haru guilty for. So I 100% agree with you in this aspect.

    You don't know humour

i can totally see where you are coming from. i kind of had similar thoughts. maybe the point of the amnesia this time isn't for him to connect with Rin, but for them to help him let go of the guilt he feels for his parents death? and feeling responsible for taking them away from his brothers? THIS Haru, who is more his younger self, would have an easier time talking about it.

Sorry, no, you don't know humour. Humour does not come at the expense of other people. Like I said that is just bullying and gaslighting behavior. Asking people why they just can't take a joke is ENABLING that behavior.

Was this supposed to be a comment another reply? Because it's interesting if it was. Since I 100% agree with you. The fact that it is easier for him to talk is pointed out quite clearly by Shima in this very chapter after all.

it was a response to Texan. it was my thoughts on the latest chapter.
i thought it would be good time for them to help him get over his guilt. especially because, at least aki is responsible for some of that weight.

    Yup totally agree again!
