They all have strong female leads, but only the last two have the kind of fighter-woman thing you're looking for.
Ouran Koukou Host Club, Sennen no Yuki (she is physically very frail, but is a brave girl with a strong personality), Gokusen, and Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha. (this is a must-read).
Also, are male leads okay? If so, Ludwig Kakumei, Makai Ouji and Last Game.
Oh, also Ai Ore!: Danshikou no Hime to Joshikou no Ouji. Another one I would highly recommend.

I feel like I've been having too much yaoi in my life. Can anyone recommend a good shoujo or josei? None of those with whiny helpless bitches as the main lead tho because they turn me off. I prefer ones with warrior princesses than damsels in distress.
