its manga. the difference is that 'normal' manga is through a publishing house/publisher which goes through a whole process of editors reviewing their work and changing stuff if they don't like it and other shit like that , doujin is self published, they can do whatever they want with no interference. anyone can make a doujin even professionals. its 100% manga. nothing to it.
No. That's why they use different words to distinguish them.
- Manga is original comic.
- Doujin / Doujinshi is fan-made comic, based on characters or plot of manga / original comic.
- Official Doujin is made by the author of that manga.

i just thought "manga" in general was a term to describe "comics" produced from and by a japanese person, whether or not they're the official author. but yeah, thanks for the info yalls.

guys, let me ask you a question. are doujin's considered "mangas" or what are they considered? i'm in a heated argument with this one idiot who claims doujin is not a manga and i just wanted to know from pros if it is or not. because I thought doujin is a manga made by fans....which makes it a "manga". lmk yall
