everything goes down when someone injects "you should die" or in "raped" in their arguments. last week here in mangafox, there was an ongoing argument going on about rape in one of the mangas and there was this preachy girl going on how rape is bad then while she was shooting arguments back and forth with another user, that "you should get raped" comment came up and i just can't help but butt in.
no matter which side of the argument you were, wishing bad things to happen on another is not cool.

EXACTLY. Though it's usually because the person saying those bad things really do have nothing else to back them up. People tend to rely on violence when they're cornered with nothing else to say. I say it's much better to just admit you're wrong and leave rather than threaten someone.
Yall know how yesterday I was talking about the difference between manga and doujin, that some idiot was arguing with me. So whole story is that the argument was under a shota, which I described as "child abuse" cuz it was to me and this said person got extra triggered because they think it's not abuse and that's not what the author intended. I then proceeded to tell them they can "see it differently" from me and all that jazz about perspective and opinions cuz I wanted to respect them if they enjoyed it, ya know. I wasn't there to put negativity on people who enjoyed it. But the bitch had the nerve to keep pestering me, trying to twist things around, as if to convince me they're absolutely right and I'm wrong. I swear this person sounded like an idiot. Then after I kept reminding them about opinions and the fact that people interpret the shota differently and that "I'm not you" cuz I don't think like them and we are different people of different perspectives, they ended up saying "of course you're not me, if I were you I would kill myself XD" .. that's when they fucked up. I get it, they're pissed I think it's abuse, but they literally said that. Whether or not as a joke, is suicide really a joke...like?? I then told them that's not good, that usually that's advice given to encourage someone to commit suicide and they said "don't blame me, blame them for giving up" safe to say this person is fucked up. To tell me they would kill themselves if they were me over a little disagreement that I think the shota is abusive. Where is the logic. How desperate can you be to want someone to agree with you that you tell them "if I were you I would kill myself" lmao that makes the once debatable argument turn into threats and bullying wtf.
End of story. This person did eventually end up deleting all their comments and replies cuz in retrospect, it's just them coming onto me and talking mad shit, basically bullying me, guilt tripping me, twisting my words in attempt to change my mind. I reported said person for what they said cuz ya know, can't let a suicide enabler on the loose. I hope their account gets deleted. A disagreement is a disagreement, nothing about it needs to lead to killing oneself.
Though I did have a good time making them run in circles trying to find ways to pin me. They never could pin me because in the end, I was right and they're just butthurt. If you're on mangago too, @MissYaoiPureLove (on disqus) fuck you. Some people can be idiots or bad but get to the point where you encourage someone to kill themselves, that's as low as it gets.
