It's like you were in my head. Amazing concept poor execution. Well worth the read except for what feels like an abrupt ending.
I hope one day the author get hit with new inspiration and revisits this work to smooth it out.
A compelling stry with very flawed execution. Thankfully for Wang Zi-Ying, her writing & art improved drastically with Circle. You can tell from the art shift that she was still experimenting with character design. Too bad this story was so incoherent. I was far more lost reading this than trying to make out the continuity & what was real & fake in Moritat. I also had to be told that Sharice & Richard were a parody of Sherlock & Watson since I really didn't pick up on that.
