it's scary how they still keep those things going. same for detective conan. i've watched that anime the same time as ippo too and it still hasn't finished.
Haha yeah, maybe they don't even know how to finish them, so they drag them longer and longer until they find an idea for an ending. Or they'll get tired of them and axed them with a rushed ending. D: Is Conan still a kid? Saw it the last time 17 years ago. :D
oh i would hate that. a long-ass manga better have an epic ending is my opinion. like they should end it like naruto where it closes the story down while it's still at it's peak of popularity, not because nobody's reading anymore.

Yep, i agree on that. :D I have read once a manhwa called Priest and the author just decided to drop it after 17 volumes....that was shit. haha it was really good. >.<

unfortunately, it's not a permanent medicine. so even after two decades he's still in high school and hasn't removed that getting small side-effect for good haha.
