Personally,I didn't like Seungbae either,'cause i thought he was ruining everything ('cause Sangwoo started to treat Bum very well) even if he was trying to do the right thing. But now,I think also Seungbae isn't very mentally stable.
They don't have a twisted love for each other. The author keeps making it abundantly clear that Sangwoo is a manipulative psychopath. He literally can NOT love Bum. He only leans on Bum when he is feeling desperate but even then its not Bum he likes its the comfort that Sangwoo fakes himself into believing at times when he needs it to help himself mentally. He only knows how to worry about himself. He literally does not love Bum. Now, Bum is definitely in a twisted love with Sangwoo but Sangwoo has zero romantic feelings for other people. He has also murdered several people, not just his abusive father. He literally lures women, tortures and abuses them, kills them, cuts them up and feels nothing but pleasure from it and wanted to do the same to Bum. The only difference is Bum ended up being a better victim than he could have ever picked up because of his extreme emotional problems, lack of self confidence, and history of being mentally unstable and letting himself be used by others in a desperate hope to be loved back.

I've always hated how people call this abusive relationship love or even "twisted love". There's nothing loving about abuse.
For the first Sangwoo does NOT love Bum in any way, he is mentally unstable and only treats Bum "nicely" when he needs to lean on someone. He is dependent on Bum when he gets mentally desperate. Like one of the comments above said, Bum is in a twisted love with Sangwoo but Sangwoo has zero romantic feelings for him. He is a manipulative person who just manipulated a mentally weak person, in this case Yoon Bum. Seungbae IS doing the right thing and he is not ruining anything, think if this happened in real life? would you still hate Seungbae? anyways, I don't really know what Koogi is planning right now, so it could be anything. So yes, it is kind of messed up wanting Sangwoo and Bum to live together with their "twisted love" which is just a zero romantic abusive relationship.

I've been reading all the comments and i think I'm mentally fucked up cause you guys are all over how seungbae is such a great and cool person that arrested the murderers by all means and I'm here thinking that he ruinned everything and I just want Sangwoo and Bum to go back home and keep their lives how they were with all their twisted love for each other
