Oh-- and if you are worried about how this damages the relationship between Bum and Sangwoo... Well, that was already damaged to begin with honestly. It's about as effective as smashing a vase that was already broken, y'know? Bum has been manipulated and subdued to the point where there is practically nothing that Sangwoo can say or do to him, just short of murdering him, that would make him love Sangwoo any less... He did just forfeit his perfect escape route for Sangwoo's affection, after all.
I am personally not holding out much hope for a perfect little Sangwoo x Bum ending, since this is not my first horror manga, but if you ARE... then... I guess... you can continue to hope for that sort of thing if you want. If you really really want to. If you really want to punish yourself this way. (・・；)
Agreed with and liked your comment. I don't hate Sangwoo for what he did. He doesn't have what it takes to feel guilty. I guess more people (like I) were ranting out bc some fans didn't even see it as rape.
I can see why that would be frustrating. I guess some people will interpret Bum's affection for Sangwoo as consent, while I agree that Bum still adores him, he certainly was never asked about it, or given the option to run. Granted, sometimes people can non-verbally consent to each other in certain situations (ex: both partners are horny, pining, gettin' weird with each other with very explicit mutual intentions) but this was definitely not the case. Bum was very forcefully held in this situation in spite of the fact that he begged Sangwoo to knock it off and said no multiple times! Recognizing the difference is important, especially in this genre.

I don't really understand why people are apprehensive about calling what Sangwoo did a rape. It isn't really surprising, considering all of the other horrid things he has done in the manhwa. This is a horror, after all, depicting a serial killer with a penchant for dismembering innocent people...
I assume it's because people think that they aren't allowed to 'like him' anymore, knowing that he has done this...? But there are plenty of things that have occurred so far that give us plenty reason to resent him. It doesn't mean that everyone is going to, or even has to, for that matter, since he is fictional. Take Walter White from Breaking Bad, for example... it is a super popular show about a person who is doing super illegal and morally questionable things, but Walter will forever have his fans and so will the show. Because it is fiction.
I guess the bottom line is... you can like Sangwoo if you want to-- I'm sure Koogi likes Sangwoo, too, he is her character after all. But that doesn't mean that he is deserving of moral high ground, either. I'm sure that Hannibal fans aren't going to deny that Dr. Lecter is a cannibalistic psychopath. So there should be no reason to deny that Sangwoo is a psychopath who murders his victim and torments/raped Bum.
