the movie adaptation of Udagawachou de Mattete Yo is so good!
Queer as folk (QAF) This show spanned for 5 seasons. It's a really good American-Canadian show that tackles controversial topics such as HIV-AIDS (season 2-5), recreational drug abuse (depicted explicitly), same sex marriage (later seasons), serodiscordancy, minor prostitution (Hunter Montgomery), homophobia (club bombing, head-bashing, discrimination), artificial insemination/steroid (season 2), and vigilantism. The pilot episode will make you want to delve further into the series. Its representation of certain aspects is close to accurate; like one has to learn to cope with others if they don't want to get mistreated themselves (Michael Novotny's mother's boyfriend), violence should be condemned regardless of orientation (Justin and that other bald guy picking a fight with straight people), etc. The show focuses on five gay men whom live in Pittsburgh; including a lesbian couple. STEP RIGHT UP. THERE'S A LOT OF RAUNCHY S-SCENES.
This was my personal favorite back when in telecasted the first time. Mommy was enraged when she found out that I watched this because apparently I was too young at that time. As a result, I had to watch it clandestinely (at a friend's house). Fun times. c'x
Hoje eu quero voltar sozinho - A Brazilian movie which centers around a group of best friends; a blind boy, a girl and a new male student. The blind boy finds himself fascinated by the presence of the new student, Gabriel. Nothing 'hardcore', and it's suitable for all kinds of viewer.
Hunting season - Personally, it seems like a cheap ripoff of QAF. Nonetheless, the protagonist is a cutie.
