it's so that the original creator, the mangaka, can make a living. instead of having people always reading it for free online or through a ripped-off file of some sort, people can buy the manga and support the author.
Just how avoid those manga from being licensed??? this is so damn frustrating! why they want to license those manga in the first place???! money?? fame??
