For some reason, I didn't really like it. Like, I don't get why it had to be so complicated. Seriously. I felt that Akihiro was quite unfair, and I hate it when one partner has more of an advantage over the other. I certainly felt Hoshino loved Akihiro more than Akihiro loved Hosjino, especially given the fact that Hoshino confessed his love for him (on top of the fact that Akihiro already knew Hoshino loved him) and yet Akihiro, till the very end, didn't say he loved Hoshino back. I get the whole anxiety of being a teenager fighting with raging hormones and feelings for a guy, but what about as adults? why did he still treat him that way? From their reunion up until Hoshino confessed, he was being a little of a jerk (at least to me); and even then, even after Hoshino confessed, he was still trying to push Hoshino away demanding Hoshino "forget" about him, so that he can also forget about Hoshino and his confession of love. I didn't like that, it seriously didn't need to be so complicated.

P.S: for those who keep talking about Shouta x Hoshino, it's not that serious. When I read the comments before I began reading the manga, I thought that Shouta was some grown-up stud who would be serious competition for Akihiro... BUT, it turns out that it's only an elementary kid in throes of his first love, which might actually be more the fact that he might see Hoshino as a mother figure and less as a "lover" lol ... Sooo, yeah it wasn't that serious, but Shouta WAS adorable!

All in all, I'll give this a 2.5/5 * rating, and only because I love this mangaka, the art and he(r) writing technique.

    my thoughts exactly:)
art style is awesome, but then there's this kind of twisted logic. they get it a lot in yaoi manga, with all that rape justification and victims blaming themselves. not exactly the same case here, but still leaves you disappointed.
