Well, for the 2nd story, the neko in human form fell in love with his master who ran away from a loan shark. Now that he realised that he really wasn't needed at all, his heart was healed by that new guy who lived in that apartment and fell in love with him. That explains why the new guy can only see him in his cat form simply because he fell in love with the new guy- it says if a cat falls in love with that human, the human himself will only see him as a cat and that was the condition given by the elder. The cat's love was shifted to the new guy now. :-)
pls tell me both storyline chapter 2 was so sad I cried so at first did shibaki been seen as a cat or human this is so confusing
