No. This doesn't happen in reality, no one in real life is not as cruel as Akira. Real people have conscience, principles, and feelings. I'm gay and I am familiar with how love works between men, and i have to say that Akira's character is not realistic. If a guy cheats on his partner, he either gets killed, beaten or wallows in self-pity because he realized he lost a good catch. I'm a fan of Hinako, but i am not biased. I really didn't like this manga.

This is a mangaka's turn on material nothing to be taken seriously, I don't mind his flippant attitude or the "hardcore sex with chicks" thingie, I didn't come here to learn how to be a better person or to feel a connection with a character and know what relationship goals are like, I'm here for the yaoi, but realistic depiction? I loved this story. She wrote one of my favorite series and I expect no less of her. She wrote a story about REALITY. All these events take place in real life. Akira was a player and that was it. That was who he is. You can't change that. As for kouta he truly loved that dumbass so he overlooked his actions.
This was beautiful with its burst of reality. Stunning work!
