The uke is timid now after his first rejection, so he "heals" himself by dating someone who calls him a whore, plays around with women, rapes him, and threatens to chop him up with a knife...Nope, not for me. I hate manga with abusive people who have idiotic partners who never stand up for themselves.

Yawn ... do you always get fictional fantasy stories mixed up with real life? Or are you one of those hair-shirt-wearing penitents who only reads nutritious, fibre-heavy books that are boring as watching grass grow, but somehow supposed to redeem you for acting like a self-righteous jerk toward others? Whatever! It's not like the other readers here are dumb twats who consult manga as how-to guides for life.

What halfway intelligent person would use manga as a "how-to-guide for life"? Just because I dislike a manga about an abusive relationship does not mean I live only how the plots of manga go. I have no idea where you got that bizarre idea from in my comment.

Besides, there are plenty of people who tolerate abusive relationships in real life, so I don't know why you would call something like this "fantasy." I think it's wrong, so that's that. No need to get all butthurt just because some random person on the internet doesn't share your opinion about a manga. O_o

Just because people tolerate abusive relationships in real life doesn't mean they take their advice for life from manga. When something happens in manga, it can have diddly-squat to do with real life, ie, pure fantasy. You don't have to like any manga, but do learn how to read symbols before you twist your panties into gordian knots trying to tell people about how terrible it is when mangakas write stories with violent episodes as though they are supposed to be interpreted literally.
