I can't believe they're still not using that secret bedroom adjacent to Asami's room with lots of "toys". >_<

That only appeared in an extra. Therefore it isn't canon and doesn't exist.

But it's in the map of his appartment...

Dear Anonymous, some extras are just there for shits and giggles, as was the case with the threesome extra, Yamane mentioned that she did it for the fans, but some extras are canon. For instance, using your logic, the Temporary Paradise extra (when Asami and Akihito are in Bali recovering after the whole Feilong/Mikhail mess) is not canon? What about the Bloody Mary extra,a continuation of the Temporary Paradise extra? Is that also not canon? And Lightasus is right, Asami's secret room is featured in the layout/map of the apartment. Therefore, it very much exists.

Dear Anonymous, some extras are just there for shits and giggles, as was the case with the threesome extra, Yamane mentioned that she did it for the fans, but some extras are canon. For instance, using your log... @Duckie

First of all: The apartment sketch was, again, part of an EXTRA.

@ Duckie: You say that some extras are just for shit and giggles. Who decided which are canon and which are not? You? The AxA die hard fans? Because here is the thing: NONE of the extras are necessary in any way, shape or form for the canon part of the story. You can take out Temporary Paradise and Bloody Mary and it wouldn't make any difference whatsoever. They are nice, yet. But are they necessary for the story? No. There is nothing in there that is referenced at a later point or vital to the story. Hence the word: EXTRA. If they were vital, they'd be a chapter. Simple as that. Some for the apartment map. It is nice to have, but not necessary.

Regarding the threesome: Good luck finding the ORIGINAL quote (not the word of mouth one that keeps flying around!) that says it's not canon. What she actually said was that she did it because he knew how popular Felong was with the fans. She never said that it should be considered specifically "not canon", but that it was up to the reader to decide whether he/she personally considered it canon or not. The version about it being "not canon" was distributed by people who couldn't stand the idea of the threesome or Feilong.

The threesome can be considered as much canon or not canon then most of the other extras. There is nothing that speaks against it. The only ones that really aren't canon are the ones with a different story layout like the one where Akihito is the office manager.

Anything else could or could not be canon. But if the other extras are all "in" (aka "in canon") then please nobody tell me the threesome isn't. Because the truth of the matter is that the AxA hardcore fans (the very ones who whined and complained to sensei that V2 didn't have any AxA in it) don't WANT it to be canon.

So there you go, there is nothing wrong here with my logic: Either all the realistic ones (and that includes the threesome) are in or they are out. But you can't have it one way or another just because you want to pretend that the threesome doesn't exist. That's why I wrote my somewhat provocative answer: The SM room is an extra and therefore doesn't exist". For me all extras exist that fit within the structure of the story without vital contradictions or impossibilities (like said extra with Akihito being office manager). And therefore, and because of what sensei ACTUALLY said, the threesome is canon.

But I'm really so sick and tired of this never-ending discussion to be honest. The hardcore AxA are so intolerant in that regard. When it's Feilong it's rape, when it's Asami it's cute. When it's AxA, the extra is canon, when Feilong is in it, it's not. It's too hypocritical for my taste. I have decided to let Mangago and the Viewfinder community be for the foreseable future. I find the fanatism of some and the tunnel view attitude of many lessen my joy of this particular manga.

So long everybody, and behave yourself.

The extras with Aki being a office manager is really him dreaming so it all could be canon and I alway think the 3P is canon just because I liked it. I don't care what other people think. It doesn't ruin my love for the manga. You shouldn't let it ruin yours either but that's up to you.

You're tired of the never-ending discussion, yet you write a provocative statement about it? Okay...

The map was part of the extra 44.1. Since that uploaded this chapter didn't include it, I put it in Pink Gold 4. Just thought that was worth mentioning, since that extra was about Akihito entering in Asami's life and his appartment. That was a great place to include it, putting it in a normal chapter would be random.

I don't really care to prove if the events actually happened or not, since they probably won't be refered to in the main story. But I think she got the layout of the appartment all figured out, like about all mangaka do in post-production with recurring closed environment, and that she doesn't have multiple alternatives of it (which quite frankly would be silly). She's just exploring it more freely in the extras. There's even rooms we have yet to see.

I'm an hardcore AxA fan, and I dig the threesome one. I don't claim to know if it is canon or not. I personally think they all do and I'm cool with every single one of them. I'm also cool with others not agreeing with that. Can't really prove it anyway, so that's just up to our own interpretation.

I always considered each extra as their slice of life away from the story arcs. The three-way was awesome and I thought everyone acted as expected in that kind of situation. I wonder if the hooded shooter turns out to be Yuri with a missing/patched eye... will that lend some credence to this?
