Ok I've just read the whole thing. And I'm sorry to say this but it's really not my type of story and characters. :( There were cute moments though but I'm really having a hard time wrapping my head on the supposed romance because of how the relationship started.

Spoiler! Pls don't read if you haven't read this manga yet.

First Souichi(uke) is a homophobic/gay hater a huge homo hater and an abuser. He orders Morinaga(seme) around and vocally torments him. I don't like that at all. And if I ever meet someone like that in real life I probably beat the shit out of him. Then there's Morinaga aka the seme who's totally in love with the uke. That enough makes you ask WHY? Personally I see nothing likeable about Souichi. (I'm so sorry guys :'( don't hurt me) Then here comes the sleepover. Man I can't get over how Morinaga just raped Souichi. I mean he could have stopped when uke says no. That's when I totally lost interest. :( I k ow some people may find that ummm romantic? But it's really twisted for me. Souichi was obviously struggling to shake off Morinaga but seme stillforced himself taking advantage of a weakness. :( This is probably an unpopular opinion but I hope I share the same sentiments from others.

I love sensei's works but this one took me by surprise in bad way. To people who liked it, enjoy! :)

Well, It's ok with your Comment ...^^. Everyone has Different taste, of course...But Please, Let me say something you XD

Hmm...I guess your type of story that are like "Love at the First sight maybe, or like sweet stories and it must be no rape no violent, and also must be Lovey Dovey couple" XD.Actually, My Type Stories are same with you, BUT It doesn't mean that I don't try to read another type stories & characters.

I think you have known that There are some GOOD & FAMOUS manga yaoi that have rape or violent content. YES, KOISURU BOUKUN IS ONE OF THEM. Yes you know "rape & violent content" commonly found in yaoi.

Dear, you don't have to wrapping your head with such a hard time, "WHY THIS STORY STARTED LIKE THAT?".

The title for this story "The Tyrant who fall in love". I think You know what "Tyran" means right?, is it problem that morinaga loves senpai personality like that?. Why you asking "why and why"......So it's just you don't like about The tyrant personality in your life, but MORINAGA LOVES IT, LOL.I think all people in the real world always fall in love in the different cases. I think in manga world too right XD.

is it problem if senpai hates Gay, but he falls in love with morinaga?.

If you really truly read and Understand the whole this story, You will find that the whole things in this story is ...... awesome stories & Sweet

@Kay, Trust me, I've read a LOT of yaoi. It's not because I don't understand the story. And I know the title says it all. I picked up this story because a lot of people seem to like it. But I know what I like and don't like. I don't like it because it romanticizes the things I hate for example, rape, blackmail, homophobia. And I'm not hating the book. I just don't like it. Simple as that. No need to preach and educate me. I know a LOT of yaoi integrates rape and assault and those are the yaoi I don't like. I finished reading this because I just had so much expectation from this story because I love Takanaga Hinako's other works. I didn't expect it to be... bad (in my case.)

The more people call the delicious and loving sex going on in yaoi rape and assault the more I am perfectly OK with being raped and assaulted by a guy so long as he's like a seme in body and mind.

But Souichi and the like are not real rape victims. Also they're getting exactly the sex I want so of course if you're going to call them rape victims I'm gonna say I wish I were a rape victim too. Yaoi like Koisuru Boukun portrays the kind of sex I like, and I'm not going to pretend I don't like it and make myself miserable by not getting the sex I want for the sake of prudes who like to call good sex rape. If you want me to respect your desires then I demand you respect mine too, but as I don't see that happening, then I'm going to care about myself and my well-being and the rest can fuck off. Morinaga is the kind of rapist I wish I had in my bed and any guy like him can rape me anyday, rape as Morinaga does it is a wonderful thing.

This is my favorite manga and the later sex is not rape but you are wrong in that the first time they have sex is most definitely rape. It's not him saying no when he means yes it's him saying no he's terrified and doesn't want it to happen. I'm an adult, I've had an interesting and varied sex life over the years and I am far from a prude since I'm the one dispensing sex advice to my friends (everything from which sex toys to use to whether or not they should indulge in a threesome). There is a huge difference between rough/forceful sex and rape. Rape is done when it's completely unwanted and the victim does not want it at all. Souichi IS a rape victim and even Morinaga admits that when he apologizes and tells him the second time they have sex that "at least this time it's not rape". Souichi at the end thinks back to all the times they had sex and the first time was rape but he admits the rest were not there at the end.

Please tell you're kidding. How old are you btw. You have no idea how rape feels like. Even married women get raped by their husbands. Rape happens when one party says NO and the other forces it. In the story, yes, Morinaga definitely raped Souichi esp in that first time. But at least the succeeding ones are consentual. Still, this story isn't my thing so I can't really defend it. I was just skimming through the threads and stumbled upon your reply it really grinds my gears.

If you took your hand out of your panties for 1 second and actually read what people were typing you'd see that they were not discussing your fetishes and sexual fantasies but the plot and its fictional characters. You liking or hating whatever went down doesn't change what the author wrote and had her characters admit to and apologize for. Nobody cares what you fap/schlick to. But keep getting defensive and making yourself miserable if you wish. Just know that its self-imposed and many of the people you call prudes share the same fantasies as you but can separate reality from an inked manga with fictional characters.

In retrospect that was pretty rude of me. Allow me to extend an olive leaf. Carry on ladies.

I'll defend the story, even go a step further to tell you it's my favorite yaoi. Ever. Period.

Now this is my opinion and I'm going to back it up. You don't have to agree with me. But I do hope you'd listen to what I have to say.

You said Morinaga raped Souchi? This is true. But look beyond that. When Morinaga confessed to Souchi, there was no response. Souchi didn't say a word, he assumed it was a joke and didn't say a word. Morinaga had no idea what Souchi thought about his confession. The lack of communication let to such a huge confusion among them both. Souchi didn't know Morinaga meant it seriously and didn't work out the situation.

The rape, is rape. Morinaga raped Souchi. But look at the reason behind it. Morinaga was hurt. His feelings weren't even acknowledged. The man was not given an answer. He wasn't given a rejection nor acceptance. How would you feel if you were left hanging in the middle? Morinaga loved Souchi for 5 years, and considered everything. He was cautious knowing Souchi hates homosexuals due to the assault. He could have imposed his feelings on Souchi. Hell there were LOTS of ways he could have handled this wrong.

Yet what did he do. As Souchi got drunk AND hard in his apartment in front of him. What was he suppose to do? Oh the guy I'm madly in love with is horny. Let me turn the other cheek. Rape is wrong. That is not forgivable. However you need to remember, Souchi forgave Morinaga for it. Not ONCE does he hold that against him. He acknowledges that he has disregarded Morinaga's feelings.

I feel as though this is already too long. My point here is that, there is so much more beneath the surface. This yaoi isn't just about sex. This is about real life problems. Emotions, passion, respect.

Morinaga both raped Souchi, and ran into his burning house to retrieve the remaining memories left of his late mother. Morinaga has made some impulsive decisions, but it's not because he's a bad or wrongful man. He's a man with emotions just like you and me. He shouldn't just be viewed as a rapist.

There's a lot to learn from this yaoi. But again, if it's not your cup of tea. That's okay.
