People are saying that they want this as an anime, but there actually is something like an OVA for this XD Here's the link, or just search it on YouTube! But I have to agree, I wish there was an anime for this ^^ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBShKd4Ybe4

It's not an Anime or OVA. It's an AniMix. "ANiMiX" is the term that Libre's B-Boy imprint uses for projects that add motion and voices to a manga's original art.

Plus it's kind of pathetic for a manga of this caliber. It really does deserve a fully animated series, with more than 3 episodes. (Those voices were good though, I really like Akihito's VA).

I actually don't really see how it could be profitable to an anime company to adapt Viewfinder, and apparently none of them did either for the last 13 years. Granted the manga is popular, at least for a yaoi, but so was Ai no Kusabi, and its remake ended up being cancelled for financial reasons after seeing that the first 4 episodes flopped in sales. It's also the only show that company ever cancelled. Both these shows can't possibly be aired on TV unless you massacre them (like, literally throwing all the sex scenes out. Works for Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, but Viewfinder not so much since the plot revolves so much around it...), so they basically can't grow an audience and get publicity. They can only throw a trailer, then the DVDs, and finally cross their fingers and hope it sells. Anime needs a lot of investment, a single anime episode costs about 180K, so with 4 episodes we're already at 720K. Most anime in general doesn't sell well already, so a yaoi show that can't be aired at all... Does anyone seriously think they could get any great profit with that?

I've read on a forum that Ayame-sensei said that Viewfinder would never be made into an anime. She allowed an Animix, but never an anime. I wish she'd change her mind though.
