Really though, she said she to do her best this year. I wonder how that'll go, she deserted her Twitter ever since she said that back on the New Year, which is because she felt ashamed of disappointing people (not that anyone on Twitter told her such things). She'd disappoint that much more people if she stopped, so she's trying to get back on tracks.
@Lightasus: Look, I'm just gonna come out and say it: she's gonna be disappointing a lot more people by continuing to produce crap like this. She's got a serious case of writer's block, at least when it comes to Crimson Spell, this manga has stopped making any kind of sense YEARS AGO. I do not understand why is she dragging this on, it's just painful to read.
We're all rational people here (whiny teenagers excluded), what would make sense would be for her to take a freakin' break, get her shit together, find her muse again and come back better, like how she used to be. This is just a vicious circle she's living in and in the end, it will only destroy her as a mangaka. She's panicking and forcing herself to finish Crimson Spell (and she's failing, abysmally so), forcing herself to come up with cool new twists for Viewfinder, please the fans, please the editor, the publishers...where does she factor in all this? It's all gonna come crashing down and it ain't gonna pretty to watch/read. Already this manga is in the garbage, I don't wanna see that happen to Viewfinder. A fan can survive a mangaka's hiatus, it's not a big deal, we all have real life issues and need a time out, but when you see one of your fave mangas decrease in quality so much...that leaves a bitter taste in one's mouth for a long time. (fans and mangaka included.)

this is so insulting. don't say the fans would accept a hiatus so easily. all you get all the time is "more! more! when's the next chapter out?". we HATE hiatus. and why continue reading something you define as "garbage"? stop reading it if that's how you feel. the rest of us love it and will continue to read it. nether this or VF have gone off track of their story, not a one. so why're you complaining?

Look, wathever you think is best for her, what do you want me to do? Send a letter to her editors? I was just saying how things were going for her, and why she's continuing that way. I don't believe it's that dramatical anyway, she has ups and downs.

I agree with you that she should get a break to organize her life if she feels like she needs to. After all, is not as if we are not used to waiting a year for a new chapter.
But seriously, stop complaining about lack of sense. CS never made any sense. Re-read the story and tell me I'm wrong. I dare you. The answer for everything in this manga is sex. EVERYTHING. If you came this far, it's because that doesn't bother you. There was never a very consistent story line and that was never a problem.
Buy the fricken manga instead of blaming your confusion on the author, the pages here are out of order. It can't be helped since this is done by fans for free out of the kindness of their hearts, but it does make the story hard to follow.
Although I love sensei's work, I wish she'll start thinking of an ending soon 4 both this & Finder B4 we don't get an ending at all 'cos 4 some reasons.
Then she can take a rest & do smaller projects instead. (How longer a manga gets, how more she must think. And that won't do any good for her health. I don't want 2 C another great Mangaka go under)
Besides she can always make a sequel or something when she recovers, instead of making this a 10 pg or less every 'who knows how long a wait' each time.
