Basically when a kami is "resurrected", it's the same as a human waking up and having amnesia. I really can't get my head around it. When someone have amnesia and completely forgets, the way a kami would, is he/she still the same person? There's 2 sides to this. One is that yeah, the person is still inherently the same. But another can also say without the memories and bonds, it's a different person. Where do you stand?

Ah, well, maybe like a clone [= same ingredients]? But with format c:
Which would mean the difference between inherent and acquired likes/dislikes comes forth.
Like Himi for instance. Loyality is his inherent trait. Since he isn't soft tissue there's a difference between his blind obedience and being loyal out of duty although he notices the problems at hand (like his former master treated him like a precious decoration instead of actually USING him).
So viewed from there, Genma's madman-approach (claiming what's his with tooth and nail and whatever else necessary) completes Himi's soul since he's giving him an absolute existence.
So no matter how often reborn, Himi would follow Genma with stars in his eyes ^^

Mhmmmm, well I still can't make up my mind. If I were Genma, I'd be so devastated, since Himi doesn't remember anything.
