Nah, not a stupid question, I have wondered that myself, but I *think* it means thousand, so 7K might mean 7000 hits. Not necessarily views but hits on the page the manga is stored on. But who knows?
So if it says, 1564k, it means 1.5 million views
No real clue, was just guessing.

It's probably just like :
1km= 1000m and 1kg= 1000g
So yes, the letter k means thousand...
K=kilo. 1 kilo=1,000 grams.

But, how about newly fresh released/scanlated/uploaded manga? I don't think it would hit 18.000 times (18k) so fast..
And after I typed that, it had become 21k.. XD
I think they do it page count. so the more pages the manga has, and a lot of people read it, then the higher view the number of view. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
