summary of chapter 1 &2 basically, both their dads set them up to go to the island alone. they told both of them that people were after them so they sent them to the island. mutsumi realized from the beginning it was a lie and went anyways. Tohru realized shortly after getting there, that his dad wanted them to build a connection and to get mutsumi to join the group and be his right hand man in the future. mutsumi wanted to pledge his life to him, but tohru wouldn't let him. then mutsumi threatened that he was the only one who could drive them off the island.(as in the boat) he agrees to sleep with him if they leave afterwards. mutsumi says he tied him up because he always kicks him when it's getting good. tohru gets pissy, but mutsumi tells him if he had waited someone would have come for him, so why did he say yes to sleeping with him if he really didn't want to. tohru mumbles that he wished he'd been born a woman, would've made a lot of things easier. mutsumi tells him that he's glad he was born a man, it gave him a better chance to be with him. this touches tohru. by the glass door they argue about him wanting to go back and about him wanting to join his group. then tohru thanks him for being the first to be glad he was born a man. tohru says they should sleep together one last time before they go back. then both dads come and show up. on the way mutsumi's dad said it was odd the man they sent there told them to come in person to pick them up. then they walk in on them doing it.
