Thats the way it is, Ayano yamane's pace, I've followed that manga sice ages ago and sometimes there is on or two update per YEAR... cause the mangaka was tired ans stuff, so be glad its like every two months
the next update, if Im not mistaked will be the end of april, and then if everything goes well... end of august...
I believe that the reason it only updates very two months is because that is how often the magazine it is published in is released. She is also working on Crimson Spell at the same time - but it seems to release on different dates - and now that Yamane sensei has finished grieving for her father and gotten over some personal issues we should see regular updates again.
I think people often tend to forget that this is all drawn by hand and just how much work goes into this. If you are writing a book and don't like a chapter or a paragraph, you alter it. If a manga artist isn't happy with a drawing or the way he/she is heading with a scene, he/she has to start over again. There is no "save", "undo" or "delete" button.
Twenty pages is a pretty good average for how many pages she produces. There are only a couple of chapters with more than 25 pages and there are even some with only 7 pages. Plus the magazine only publishes every two months, so even if it was possible to produce more, she would still have to wait to publish. (also she does other stories in between...)
The magazine that the manga is published in is bi-monthly. The average for all he stories in it is about 20 pages (usually they have a limit except for specials). Next chapter is at the of April and then the end up June and then August. Around a year and half ago was when updates were only two per year but that was because of the author's personal problems.
I'm just curious, it has few pages but why is it updated only once every two months?
