In the extra page about the mangaka's interview, she said that she drew souma in that sakura tree because it's symbolize life force(masataka said so), so he will struggle to live from now on like that sakura tree..so after this both of them will continue to live forward. that's what the mangaka says, so c'mon be happy with me who become the fans of this GODLY MANGA
