I agree and I think now, she can see Kyouko as someone who can be an equal in a professional spectrum. I would like to think she is refusing to acknowledge they are related now because of how horrible of a women others perceive her as instead of downright belittling Kyouko. Of course, Kyouko won't be able to see it that way because she wants her mother's approval.
I have been trying to see Kyokos mom from a diferent perspective, just to see if I can come up with a good plot theory, and until I read ch 222 translations I was in The dark, but after the chapter I finaly could, Saena is a cold woman with no attachment to children, and then she became a mother, she coudn't change herself and she was annoyed by the kid, and the weaker the kid, more confuse she will be, at some point she couldn't take it anymore and just let the kid behind, she had nothing more to tigh her down, the kid could take care of her self in her own, so no more worries and soshe left motherhood behind without a glance.
