Now I'm dying with curiosity. Eventough I don't understands chinese, I barely grasp the situation. How can a Mother treat her daughter like that? My only guess is that Kyoko an unwanted child, maybe she was raped or something. and how dense Kyoko could be? He mistake Ren for Corn, for Godsake, Black hair and all. Seem like it still a long way to go.

Does anyone find the art is getting, I don't know...sloppy? Or melty? (stupid word, sorry) I've noticed this in Haru wo Daiteita as well, the latest 'look' seems to be very different--less detailed. Especially the men; in this case Ren. The way she is drawing his face now is disconcerting for me.

Well, basically, for the first few pages with the mom, the mom is telling chibi-kyoko that it will be her fault if she loses her case and tells her to get out, and chibi-kyoko knows she is being hated by her mom but she cannot accept that fact.
Then this brings us to the part when she sees ren and cries 'corn'. Then the grownup-kyoko starts wondering what is wrong with her and why can't her mom love and accept her.
And then sho is waiting and wondering where kyoko is, while his sunglasses assistant tells him that it is dangerous for him to be seen in public, even if there aren't many people there at that time. Sho cannot be bothered and starts imagining kyoko being taken advantage of by baddies and starts worrying and tries to find her, even if it was her first and last request (when she asked him to leave her alone).
Then Ren is comforting the crying kyoko and we skip to the bit with the President Lory's assistant (PA). So PA drove ren to where kyoko was and is waiting in the car. PA can't see ren and kyoko anymore says he will update Lory when he returns to the car.
Then Yashiro tells Lory that he looks as if he is up to no good, and that he is a love monster/freak. Then Lory wonders if this experience will become a 'scar' or treasure for Kyoko in her growth as an actress.
Kyoko then flashbacks to when Corn was with her, and thinks that if it was the usual Corn, he would ask her what is wrong after she calmed down. But she doesn't think she can tell him now. She then thinks that to have Corn with her now is like a dream.
And then she finally takes a closer look, wonders where his blonde hair, shiny skin and green eyes are and realises it is ren. And ren says: sorry, I just couldn't find the chance to say anything, and Kyoko screams... haha
