Since he is one of the Gods and Goddesses, he might have certain powers like a mythical and sacred beast Phoenix that are rebirth, immortality and renewal all in one. Since he's been 'travel' for 10 thousands to try to understand something, he might purposely choose which place he's likely to 'end' his life and be 'rebirth' again. Last time he decided to is (we all know) at Kouro's father's place. He may have to lie to people in order to proceed on with his plans or he didn't remembered it at first until he's power awakened and so he had to keep it hidden. As for his wings, well he might change it to his liking so he people wouldn't know what is his true identity which in the end he showed his real wings off.
AND he is definitely NOT a pedophiles －.－ as I mentioned above, he just went 'rebirth' so his age is about the same with his wife, Miyako and Miyako's husband. Though his true age is that of 10 thousands or more but he is still considered as 'young' following his new 'life'. As for mature, well we all have different taste so that might just be his taste. Or maybe that's just his way to reject others and only appeals to Hiyo's mother, the lady who 'saved' her and the one he's truly in love.
In addition, Miyako cannot forseen his background probably because he is way older and way powerful than her, at least in some parts he's that powerful than her.

But I also have one more to add; perhaps Hiyo's father is actually the 'love-fruit' from the original White Crow And Demon King. He alone is saved, yet he's trying to search for 'answers' for the 'misery' that happened to his parents. Since he is the child of both 'white' and 'black', he's conclusion to something might always clashed or fruitless..until Hiyo and Kouro. Also, that's why he got black and white wings.

2.did his daughter change his wing design in her plan if not how does he died a retractable white wing with a black wing on the other side?
