It doesn't look like anybody dies in Bleach. Maybe the reason it's named Bleach is that they just kind of fade away until they're needed again.

I really think he's dead, just like Gin and Tosen and Stark... But Byakuya was dead (2 characters said so) and Kubo managed to bring him back... so maybe, maybe not ;)

I'm totally agree with you. He's definitely dead. However, knowing Kubo, he'll probably find a way to bring him back if he wants to.
