Erie wanted to chop of normans ring finger because it reminded him that norman was still inlove with another man. This made him extremely jelouse but instead he told norman that he would make norman take it off himself ... Norman taking off his ring and giving it to erie, meant that he now loves erie more than he did will .. It doesnt mean that he forgot will .. It meant that he has now moved on and has finally accepted eries passionate feelings for him and is willing to return as much passion as he can ..
