That's the personality of 90% yaoi characters. It seems to be yours as wellby your reaction to a fictional character. I bet everyone who knows you thinks that.
It's also one of my favorite stories. I like Fumi though. You're right about his insecurity and that Shunpei has given up a lot of things for him; but I think, when we read this story, we have to keep in mind that they're teenagers so their reactions can be childish sometimes.
And the mangaka described Fumi as a pessimistic character so he's afraid to lose Shunpei after having waited for so long to get him.
I think this long wait has also contributed to his frustration and his current inability to be patient with Shunpei. But he loves him deeply and surely, when he's older, he'll be aware of the mistakes he made :)
Isn't insecurities normal in every relationship? Hardships, jealously, & even fighting? As long as everything works out in the end & you love each other isn't that what makes your bond stronger? Besides if they fight a little isn't the make up sex worth it? *drool*
Anyway I love Fumi's character. He's only human.
I know you all are probably right ( especially the make up sex lol ) it s just that no one appreciate what shumpei has done already ! They are all obsessed with fumi ( i like him he gets possessive in bed though lol) i just want to say that shumpei is a beautiful caractere even if he s slow but he s cuter than fumi ! And he even had his ups and downs in his relationship but he has more courage ... Well it s my opinion but i cant ever deny the awesomeness of this manga..

I can defiantly understand your opinion. I like discussion on different views and such and I am not bothered at all with different point of views. (^_^) Shunpei is a sweetheart and he does deserve more credit for the commitment and effort he offers in the relationship. Well, my point is I love them together as a couple even if Fumi has his moments but that doesn't make Fumi a bad guy. Fumi is lucky to have such a wonderful boyfriend.
I do like Fumi, but I understand how unappreciated of a character Shunpei is. Mostly in the manga, though. He's totally sweet !! Tbh I'm just waiting for another hot seme to take an interest in Shunpei– also Shunpei isn't blamed for this, because he gets blamed for a lot of things out of his control, and that way Fumi gets jealous. It's a dream of mine.
