I don't get why so much hate. I think that people that say they hate Koide Mieko are the ones that don't know their yaoi. She has written some golden ones like Yatteraneese (adapted from novel but still great adaption), Binetsu no Karute, Kuchibiru ni Amai doku etc etc. She has a pretty overwhelming reputation and just because she experimented with something different than her usual plots you shouldn't just go and spout crap.
That and sometimes I think that people here are people with no relationships with other human beings whatsoever. I found the execution pretty good on both plots, even if it wasn't my cup of tea. I don't get why people spout shit like this. If I really had to complain about something, it would be the endings on both (especially the second one, I mean wtf!) but you never know what happened and it turned out like this. In all honesty, I tried reading this because of the mangaka, since she's pretty good. And collaborates with other good mangaka as well.
