    I want to know what happened to her family and friends in Japan. Like how they got over her sudden disappearance and if the boyfriend might get accused to being responsible for her disappearance. Maybe he is a suspect...

    Actually I heard that the boyfriend ends up marrying one of her sisters. Though that was a few years back when I first read this.
