Why Akihito character is no longer well drawn?
Disappointed, if the character is less drawn than the other characters.
Does anyone agree with me?

me too i have noticed this, perhaps sensei is tired that's why she took a break, the next chap will be released in october.

I don't think he's less well drawn so much as he suddenly looks like a little kid in the last two or three chapters. Even his body looks smaller. Even though he was always slender, he had a masculine build. His shoulders used to be broader.

He looks cuter if we compare to him on vol 1. Agree. Even Sakazaki and Asami said so (that he's cute xD).

But well mangaka's artstyle sometimes changed, it's not that surprising tbh. Fortunately sensei's style is not that drastically changed (like Kizuna manga by Kodaka Kazuma). I like her current style better.

I totally agree with you. I started reading the books again and it's obvious there's a big difference between her past and her current drawings concerning Akihito. In this case, it's not for the better.

That's right that the style of the authors can change through time. For example, Ichigo in Bleach (Tite Kubo) is better drawn now but, for Ayano Yamane, there're no difference concerning Asami or the other characters from her books. Maybe she wants to draw her scenes faster and she's drawn Akihito less detailed lately. Maybe, she wasn't even conscious of it.

I hope she'll work the details and make finer features for Akihito to release the eighth tankoubon.

I'm afraid i have to agree! he looks much smaller and tiny than before. and also in the previous chapters at many points you can't see the bandage around Aki's neck. looks like sensei is really tired! i wish her luck.

I don't know. As long as the storyline is not a shit and still interesting, the art is still good, and Akihito doesn't looks like a man without boobs, I don't mind. As time goes by, I read this book for the plot and the characters

    Anonymous June 29, 2015 1:25 pm

what do you mean no longer "well drawn" what do you mean "less drawn"? less drawn as in you didn't see him that much in recent chapters? If you mean by "less muscular" or less manly", I will tell you one thing : it's her current style. It's not because she is tired or smth. like it or not. you'll get like what you see now in the future. Just stop reading it before you're dissapointed too much.

Also, buy the books if you want to see more detailed art. The magazine version are crap. Esp if it's only a sketch one. books version are much better

I mean no longer well-drawn. I own all the books published, and I am afraid that Akihito has lost all masculinity in these new chapters.
He could be Asami's son. :P
Though Asami also look younger. Her new style is totally lost.
I want to sexy Akihitos back. That's why I'm sad. :(

    Anonymous June 29, 2015 3:13 pm

Seems like her drawing style has changed. Not that surprising to be honest since the manga has been going on for more than a decade now. Aki has been looking like this for a long time now and I guess I'm in the minority that prefers this style. It's the look that I'm so used to seeing for Aki now and to me it suits his personality. He looks so adorable always but there are some frames where he looks so mature as well. It's a nice balance. Like the top left frame in this recent chapter. That's my favorite type of Aki look. :)

Since when Sensei stated that Akihito is a masculine/ manly man; he is a cute man since the beginning till now. And even other characters said he looks like a teenager. The current art fits the explanation, no?

If we compare him in vol 1, yeah his appearance less manly. But well..at least he looks like a 23 YO Asian man for me.

I don't mind with it. I prefer it than I have to see the masculine Akihito got raped over and over again. lol.

I'm afraid that you will never see that sexy-masculine Akihito again in the future (though I never though that Aki is a masculine one), as we see it that Sensei's art become more and more softer than vol 1. Oh well it happens to other mangaka tho. for ex, Read Naruto for shonen manga, or Fake (Sanami Matoh) for Yaoi, and you'll know what I mean. What you have to do is, Just take it for granted or leave it.

For Asami, yes I admit he looks younger than before. I remember in vol 3 he looks like an old man. lol. but wait!! 35 is not that old! Oh, he is still sexy for me.

It's kinda rude if you said Her new style is totally lost. It's not dat bad.. :/
I read vf for the plot. I read vf for the character. As long as her style is still "Yamane Ayano's style", I'm okay. It's another story if her style change drastically into minami haruka or Mizukami shin (I LOVE mizukami shin tho), I will leave it. If you read for the art, well..you will never enjoy the story if it is changed even for a lil bit.

    enjoy my long-grammatical-error reply. lol

Eh, I'm a bad explainer. (English is not my main language.)

I may be scared that the series enemies are better looking than Akihito. "Noooo"
Akihito is my favorite character and I wish that she draw him a little more detail in the hair and eyes, athletic body. As before. They I miss...

You people are fuckin' insane. Akihito, masculine? When was Akihito ever masculine?! Really? Are we even talkin' about the same character? Also, one of the anonymous stating that he looks like Asami's son? Girl, you need to go get your eyes checked. Pronto. Yes, there is a big difference in Yamane's art, her current art is a lot better that what it started out as.

Akihito is still hot as hell, may I direct your attention to the chapter (I think it was 45) where he goes undercover at that fancy brothel while looking for Aoki Mayu?
    Observe:

I dare any of you to say that this is a badly drawn Akihito, that he looks girly, tiny, less masculine or whatever the fuck you lot are claiming. Please, Akihito's frame was always slender, lithe, there was nothing really masculine about him and his features are boyish. I think all of you are just bored out of your skulls and you're just nitpicking like a bunch of old hags. What's next, are you gonna bitch about how Yamane's gonna draw Akihito's chin or eyelid?! Seriously, 90% of the fans on this page are ungrateful, whiny children. Grow the fuck up and stop acting like a bunch of trolls.

Did you even read the responses? It's just been in the last few chapters that the drawing for Akihito has changed. Look at the difference between this Akihito in chapter 50:

    http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/you_re_my_loveprize_in_viewfinder/mh/v08/c050/8/

And this Akihito in chapter 52:

    http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/you_re_my_loveprize_in_viewfinder/mh/v08/c051/17/

He's lost about thirty pounds and six inches. Yeah he's been said to look seventeen or eighteen, but the Akihito in chapters 52 and 53 looks ten. If you don't see a difference, you're the one who needs an eye examination.

    Helena June 29, 2015 6:55 pm

He's lost about six inches? Oh yes, because Akihito was oh so very tall next to Asami. Also, you think Akihito looks ten in that panel you referenced? Looks like you're in dire need of an eye examination.

All this talk about Akihito looking like a kid these past few chapters, and that's your proof? ONE panel? NITPICKING. Pathetic. The lot of you. Get a life.

It's called an example. If you want me to share every single panel of the last two chapters where he looks like a child instead of a twenty-three-year-old man (or even an eighteen-year-old) I will. But that would be just about every panel in the last two chapters. But if you insist you don't see it, I can't correct your eyesight. Obviously, there are others here who are seeing the problem.

Um...sort of followed this from the main page - but did you think to try and compare him to Kirishima's size? Kirishima is a big guy:
