Both Eimi and Yuri are granddaughters of Yuri and Kail. They are cousins. Eimi is the daughter of Marie Inanna (Kail and Yuri Ishtar's daughter) while Yuri is the daughter of Hatusillis III (Current Emperor and brother of Marie Inanna)...
Because of the Egyptian-Hittite peace treaty which included a condition of marriage between the two countries, the current King of Egypt Ramses II was supposed to marry a Hittite princess (supposedly Yuri as she is the first princess of the current emperor).. After Yuri and Maripas fled (to explore other places and have freedom), Eimi took her place to wed Ramses II, and realized that that may be her purpose in life (remember how she asked her mother before if there was anything she could do, because she felt nothing special and kind of useless especially compared to Yuri)...
