We understand the story in our own way. Sorry, but we have to read to understand this couple. Telling us not to read is kind of illogical. Some are frustrated because we've done this all before. At first I loved how slow paced it was, but they are just going around in circles to avoid the bigger issues. I'd be more understanding of Misaki was young, but he's not. We complain because we like the couple. We want to see them grow old together, but they have to deal with their issues. We've heard these sentimental convos hundreds of times. They mean nothing with no action. No character is perfect. Every character grows though. Misaki might as well be a teenager. He does nothing for himself. He's a pampered lover compared to Hiroki and Shinobu. Their story isn't rushed yet it's not progressing either. You don't get US and where we are coming from. I don't think you ever will. We care for this manga though. I've been a follower for three years. You can't discredit that.

I have been a fan since 2008 and i like the progress sometimes it can be frustrating but that's life.
Love is complicated and Junjou portrays that well. And i just adore the romantic monologues its beautiful!:)
So yes every character.has a flaw but they are growing maybe slower than others but they are.
Misaki is a grown man but he is learning besides he really does love Usami may not say it but he shows it and is responding to.Usami slowly but surely
Junjou Egoist is my ultimate favorite but Misaki x Usami are creeping in my heart didn't like them at first but i see how cool of characters they are especially Usami.he has excellent character development and i admire how he tried to stop interfering when a guy comes along and confess to Misaki because Misaki has to say these things for himself and be strong will he can do it just needs that push

Thing is they likely DID and still do like this manga but are tired of Misaki being all talk. He wants Usagi? Show dont tell. I still think Usagi could do better tbh.

If we don't take the time and give authors feedback, they will not make the effort and better their writing skills. Those who take the time and criticize are the ones who truly love sensei's work, and are letting her know that although they still love her work, they would appreciate not being taken for granted, and have the story actually move forward.

Lastly, it is 2015. Misaki has moved in at 17 and started having sex with Usagi at 18. He is now 22 (23?), how many times have they had sex already? Shouldn't the characters evolve somewhat and stop acting as if it's always their first time having sex? We deserve better as readers. And we have every right to demand better. Quitting is just a loser's easy way out and not caring at all.

Ummm...if you think commenting on a free manga reader site is, in any way, giving the mangaka feedback, this is wrong. The mangaka does not go around looking at sites that host this work for free and would probably not be too happy to see this here.
And demanding better from an author is pretty arrogant. This is her work and she will write it the way she wants. Would you critique Shakespeare to make Romeo and Juliet into a story you want to read?
People who want to interfere with someone elses creative process should instead create their own works.
That is my thought on the matter as an artist. I would be very unhappy if someone came up to me while I was painting and said "I like it, but ... you should change this and that"

I think you've said a bit too much.The author and all the other people who've put so much effort into making this manga don't need the advise of people like us, who're reading it for free.What makes you think that you have the right to "demand" better? Also, not all critics are fans of the manga.

I do understand that there's no way a person can like all manga.There are some that we like and some that we don't.There are some that we like, but after some chapters, we may feel that the story should go in another direction, which is how you feel about this manga.We're free to feel whatever we like, but in the end, it's up to the mangaka to draw it the way she/he chooses to.You may not like the way this manga's turning out but there might be others who like it.If you don't like it, 1) you can always dream, or if you're determined enough, create a dj 2) don't read this manga.This is the path that I've chosen since I wasn't interested in this manga since the beginning.Since you say that you're a fan, that might be hard, but there's nothing else you can do.Well, there's one more thing that you can do..3) become Nakamura Shungiku's editor.

The comments section is MEANT for discussion, comments and opinions on the manga, obviously you do not have an opinion on the manga, you just want to whine about people who make comments ... how is that any better? The main topic on this thread was how the mangka (the writer artist - in case you don't know what mangaka means) would somehow read this line of commentary and magically change her plot because someone was unhappy with the way the story was going. Maybe you should have read the comments before making your comment?

This I agree with, 100% as a writer. In the end, the mangaka is continuing this for the pleasure of people who enjoy reading it, but the mangaka won't simply bend to the will of the fanbase because they demand better. The reason that some stories fail is because creators become too conscious of the screaming opinions of fans who do not understand the author's intent for writing a certain way.
I would never ask a creator to change something because I do not like it, but rather try to understand the intent of why they made it this way. In the same breath, I would, as a writer, not very much appreciate a person saying that I should change something in my work so that they would like it better. There's a difference between suggestions and critiques, and then just downright whining and badgering.

For sure, as an artist I am used to critiques on my artwork, and I take into account those who are equally trained and knowledgeable about the type of work I produce. Constructive criticism can help to improve your works. At the same time, however, if I feel that the art lives up to what I was trying to convey, then the work should stand as it was meant to. (I remember one of my professors saying that the my one work was strong and well executed...etc. and that I should now produce a series using the same theme. But the work was a one-off, and producing a series turned out to be the worst possible advice as the rest of the paintings were weak in comparison to the one off. Hehehe.

Yeah, i cant agree with anyone telling her tto change it because they ask it. Authors trying to please the fans, ends like naruto. In flames with half of them feeling betrayed because the characters are no longer themselves or what made us love them. You dont have to like them. But sont think you can tell her how they should be. I write too, and i appreciate critic, but in the end its my story and my characters. Ill do what i want. And i know some people still get mad that misakis embarrased during sex. So what??? Some people never get used to it. And if his partner has no problem with it, its fine. i can agree with the first comment, i see where it progresses all the way through. They both have leftover emotional issues to face but they wont invade that space in their heads. They seem to respect the other enough to wait until they want to deal with it.

Wow wow.... I don't know to who should I reply first hahahah .There's too many negative comments about JR that's why my first sentence is " I don't get it" . Seems like there's few of people here disappointed about JR progress but let me put it in a simple way, they prolong it for business purpose I don't want to spill it but I think you should know it already. There's pros and cons in slow plot but I'm glad they did so this manga will not end too soon. Yet you haters still coming here to read :) meaning you still love it but things didn't go the way you want ...am I right? No manga is perfect... even JR art at the very beginning not appealing to my taste and I've seen much more beautiful yaoi manga compare to this but I'm not complaining because I love its imperfections . Something about this keep me going and hooked , I have few chapters that touch me emotionally that make it so special and personal for me. It'd be too tedious to sit here and classify fans. "Love hater" isn't even the right term. This was meant to be discussion you know where fans get together and reach an ultimate solution if possible and give opinions. Why are opinions seen as a bad thing. We are all suppose to be rainbows and gumdrops and just agree with whatever the hell goes on? We don't love to complain, heck this is far from complaining we're just giving an opinion. If Mangago would accept these types of things more we'd actually get somewhere, but the community here shuts down anything that doesn't praise the manga. If your opinions comes in constructive criticism that is a different story and I really love that too at least I can discuss with you and my friends about it. Even though I know it pointless because it depends on author decision .But at least it makes me feel relieved because I can express my opinions .If harsh and bashing types how ? Some will love some will not up for you to choose. this manga not the best damn thing I agreed too because they were made by human being name Nakamura Shungiku, she is doing the best as she can not just for readers but for her career. Don't worry it will end beautifully just take our time and enjoy it , we are here because we love this manga. For you OP don't get too disappointed over critique sometimes we purposely want to vent anger at chibi tan character and hell you know why, because we want the best for them to be together.
