From the onsen omake we only know Feilong has been writing mails to Akihito...However, in the novel Finder no Rakuin it's mentioned that Akihito is writing to Fei as well. And apparently with lots of smileys too. ^_^
I don't have any of the novels but where can buy them in United States? In your conclusion about what you said, what do think going on there? To me it look like akihito becoming more comfortable or fresh or cumin with fei long. In novel does asami knows about this?
Unfortunately an English version hasn't been released...It's been published in German, Korean, Chinese and of course Japanese as far as I know.
To me it looks like Feilong and Akihito are developing a friendship, which already started back in Hong Kong, and it seems they've been in contact and might have gotten closer since then, but we don't learn much about it. In the novel it's only mentioned very briefly that Fei received a mail from Akihito, and whether Asami knows or not is unclear. (I don't know if the onsen extra takes place before or after the novel, but after the extra Asami definitely knows xD)

Regarding the onsen short with the threesome between Aki, Fei and Asami, is this the only time we find out that Aki and Fei Long have been communicating with each other via e-mail since the end of the Hong Kong arc? (And Asami clearly didn't know about it.)
