hmm... i can see your point. It is indeed weird that he seemed to just forget the fact that he's currently fucking around with other guy for an AV when he got so jealous after only saw him kissing that other guy.

Anyway I usually don't fret over the lack of smexing scene in a yaoi, but I find this one felt really incomplete without any smex scene... sigh... the kissing scene was pretty hot so i was hoping for more steamy action,,, i'm kinda disappointed here...
I'm totally agree with you. Towards the last few chapters, I was totally depressed and pissed off. I thought this would be cute and fluffy, no on warned me about this. I guess Hikaru paid him that much money because he wanted to do it with Kentarou too. I want to see how Asakura would react when the av film comes out. Here, he was super relived and happy when he found out that Kentarou doesn't have a lover, he was just fucked someone all day with only 30 minutes break. And Asakura got jealous over just a kiss, that doesn't make sense to me. Kentarou even told Asakura that he doesn't want to do av anymore because he doesn't want to do a job that he can't show to his son, and now he gone and done it again for the money he doesn't need in the end. Kentarou is gross, I even cried for Asakura! Lame me ╥﹏╥
I think it's because it was just 'sex' there wasn't any 'emotional' connection between him and the av character. That's why he didn't react as much. I do wish Asakura would have been more angry or upset about it, mostly because eventho kentarou didn't say it to him. He had repeated multiple times to others that he won't do it because he loves asakura.And he didn't want to 'cheat' on him eventhough they weren't together. I found the fact he just up and fuck the guy very abrupt even if he was very desperate.
Not only that Kentarou had planned to take the relationship serious after he moved out. So I found it funny he would have sex with the guy. But I guess he was just THAT desperate to move up/deepen his and asakura's relationship so he needed to move out fast for it to happen.
But I think the author really did a bad move because it was just out of character for kentarou to do that because he always thought things through and never one to fool around. So I think that was a load of BS on the author's part, to make this 'critical' scene while totally disregarding her own character's personality.

I think you're right on all points! The out of character part is what I hate the most about this manga cause I used to love Kentarou character so much from the beginning. He was straight forward and honest, but then somehow later he turned into a horny coward. I totally felt betrayed by the author, I guess that's why I was so upset after I finished reading it.
Going back doing AV; it's not so much the cheating part that I have issue with, but it's the trusting part. Kentarou wanted Asakura to rely on him more, but when it came to this he just made decision based on himself, he didn't even consider his son's feeling. It was heartbreaking, for both Asakura and Motoki, when Motoki went to tell Asakura that he didn't want to move out and asked if he could continue to stay with Asakura and Hiromi. ╥﹏╥
Kentarou should just tell Asakura that he wanted to do him. #－.－)
I actually was so glad that there was not a big drama scene about the av, it was his job, that was all and asakura understood, now if he will keep making videos after they are in.a relationship, it will be weird, but still some people can really put job and feelings apart
I think that there are more factors, like living in someone else home, he needed money and he had experience in AV world an easy income, because of his innocence Asakura was ambiguous and turned hard to deal with......
Maybe you wouldn't concentrate only in love relationship but in all Izumi's circumstances..
I really don't know why this is considered a sweet and cute story. I actually regret reading it, because I'm completely sad and depressed now. How in the world is it ok to fuck some other guy all day long for money before declaring your love for someone else? I would have punched him the face and told him to fuck off. I'm not even sure Asakura understood what an AV movie is, because his reaction was completely off. First he was devastated because he saw Ken kissing some other guy and hours later he's ok that he fucked someone else all day long and shows no reaction towards it? Seems pretty unlikely to me. I'm sorry, but I really hated this story and I wish I could erase it from my memory.
