If you forgot, a whiiile back, Kurotsuchi made his first appearance with his fluffy armor. It may have even been in the anime. Then, the soul king is working for the Quincies because if you look, Pernidas has the same eyes as Ywhach(I call him Bastard so i forgot spelling). Ywhach is the Soul King now, essentially because he's taken over the palace. That's why Pernidas said that "the bad guys said Kurotsuchi is the enemy"
Ah, I have not read for a while, so I am playing catch up and I am still questioning Kurotsuchis' fashion sense after all this time ... and Pernida - does have the same eye as Juha - I did see that but kind of dismissed it in all the strangeness going on ... (I call him something less flattering LOL) (did you know that is actually a real eye condition? I saw a photo of one recently ...) I guess I can understand how the hand is working for the enemy ... Why does Kurotsuchi look like a mutant sunflower? Or maybe a triffid/sunflower mix? He has always been bizarre but this is really odd. And the Soul King's body parts working for the enemy? What is with that?
