I was thinking the same and I was thinking it'll be Armin. He renewed his promise with Eren and Levi overheard it. I bet Armin is going to bite it and Levi saves him using the titan serum. Armin's character arc is mostly about his insecurity of not being strong enough to help his friends. I bet it'll help when he becomes a titan. That's my theory, anyway.
I think Armin will live on for the author's sake. He's a easy to use charactor who can be used to illustrate situations and point out important things. I don't think there are many charactors who are capable of this.
I have a very strong fucking feeling that it's going to be Armin (his inevitable death); my god, and if it happens- god forbid- I'm going to rip my insides out and offer them to that gorrila-looking titan. I mean, did you see the doubt in Eren's face when Armin was talking about the outside, again, to him. Eren gave that infamous side glance and single sweat-drop-off-the-face-thing like Armin was pulling that crap out of his ass. Then Armin's response completely broke my heart, the look in his eyes (he took three 3 panels of disbelief), and the fact that Mikasa was like, "tf u talkin bout?" and then there was Levi eavesdropping, probably feeling all feely and shit. Man, something only Eren and Armin keep to eachother and if the author wants me to just cry rivers of blood then shit man. Like, don't do this to my shota Ariel-like He-man- just don't, fucking don't please.
