It's bad and shouldn't happen but that's the reality for a lot of peoples though. The friends need time accept that and it's not just he came out, they saw him getting on with another guy, so it's going to be awkward for anybody.

That was bad just because Akiyama decided to have a gay relationship then his friends starting to avoid him. I know some traumatic because of the attack.
