I'm surprised this manga has such a high rating (8.2) since this is actual depiction of abuse in a relationship. I couldn't get into the "romance" if that's what you wanna call it. Honestly, it's just fascination between the two MCs. Seme is nice to uke, and that's initially what attracts him to the seme, and then he finds out that the seme is possibly gay--so there's their connection. Uke is the first guy who sticks with the seme through the abuse and becomes attached to him as well.
Believe me, I love dark and twisted romance, but this just wasn't romantic at all to me. And the brother issue went completely unresolved. At least they got their "happy ending".
